Arlene’s HISTORY

Explore how we become the leader in food service for community schools, private schools, and charter schools throughout Ohio.

1995

How We Started

Arlene Wilkinson began selling cookies and pastries out of her basement to local newspaper companies & coffee shops.

2001

A Family Affair

Arlene’s husband, Brad Wilkinson, joined her in this venture and Arlene’s Cuisine was officially born and rented out a small establishment on Old Henderson Rd in Columbus OH. The business offered soups, sandwiches, and salads to customers daily. Schools & daycares in the area quickly took notice and began serving Arlene’s food.

2005

A Leap of Faith

The company took a leap of faith and purchased land and built a small kitchen (2 ovens) on Dublin Rd. Arlene’s redirected the scope of business and only serviced school meals going forward.

2018

A Year of Growth

With healthy growth- Arlene’s again needed more space. The company purchased land and built a 10,000 sqft professional grade kitchen at 3000 W. 5th Ave, right outside of Grandview OH.

Present

An Industry Leader

Arlene’s Cuisine continues to exclusively service school meals throughout all of Ohio. With the growth of new schools and employees, Arlene’s chronically relearns what it means to provide healthy nutritious meals for NSLP students. Partnering with local vendors, we strive to be the industry leader in fresh healthy school meals that kids enjoy.
